Spring Logic Puzzles Bundle (B1/B2)-Intermediate Logic Puzzles with Clues in Rhyming Verse

Looking for a Spring Logic Puzzles Bundle for students going on or coming back from spring break? Why not take a look at this one? I'm working on a new product line: logic puzzles! I've always found these fun to do, especially when there's an attached grid for marking off what you've learned from the clues provided. My logic puzzles have a little twist to them in that the clues are written in rhyming verse, so students need to work a little more to figure them out.  For example, the first clue in the Spring Picnic Logic Puzzle (which is included in this bundle) reads: Alice’s food is something neat,   A tasty treat with bread and meat.   Her pet has feathers small and bright,   The dress she wears is like firelight. From this, students can use the grid to...

St. Patrick's Day Reading Comprehension & Questions (A2/B1)-Intermediate Reading Lesson

St. Patrick's Day Reading Comprehension & Questions includes a quick 2-page reading comprehension exercise and accompanying quiz for St. Patrick's Day. Many of my students don't know a lot about St. Patrick's Day, which isn't a common holiday where I am, so I put together this reading comprehension exercise to help them get a better understanding of the holiday and associated customs. The 2-page, 400-word reading comprehension file covers three topics: History and Origin of St. Patrick’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day Traditions, and Irish Mythology and Symbols of Luck. A vocabulary list is included at the end of the file. The students can then use the accompanying quiz to test their understanding of the reading comprehension file. There's a 3-page printable quiz file that can be printed out and given to students, and a self-checking digital quiz file that can be used for going through the quiz questions with students. There are a total of 15 quiz questions. (Ans...
